02Backup & ownership

A second copy in a cloud you already own.

Connect Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive and approved originals are mirrored into your own account. Each copy keeps a receipt — provider, path, size and the time the provider confirmed it.

In motion

A mirror is not finished until the provider says so.

The receipt records provider, destination path, byte size and confirmation time. Until that confirmation arrives the file is shown as pending, not as backed up.

02How it works

Three steps, in the order you would actually do them.

01

Connect a destination

Authorize Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive. Galeira writes into a folder in your account, not a shared one of ours.

02

Mirror approved originals

Approved files queue for copy. Each one is verified against its size before the receipt closes.

03

Keep the copy after us

The files in your cloud are ordinary files. They stay if the event closes, the plan changes or the account ends.

Connected behaviour

Export is the same set, on demand.

Any time you want the whole approved collection in one download, export produces it as original files with a manifest — no re-encoding.

What it includes

The parts, named plainly.

Three providers

Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive through their own authorization.

Per-file receipt

Provider, path, size and confirmed-at time for every copy.

Retry queue

A failed copy is retried and stays listed as failed until it succeeds.

Original bytes

The mirror copies the file you received, not a preview.

Folder mapping

Copies land in a folder you choose inside your account.

Health signal

A broken or revoked connection raises an alert rather than failing quietly.

02Privacy & control

What this feature will not do.

Revoking access stops copies, not history

Disconnect a provider and copying stops; receipts of what was already copied remain.

We do not delete your cloud copies

Nothing Galeira does later removes a file that a provider already confirmed.

Failures are not hidden

A pending or failed mirror is shown as such; there is no optimistic 'backed up' label.

Scope is the event

The connection copies approved media for the events you enable, not your library.

Questions

Before the event goes live.

Is the copy in my account or yours?

Yours. You authorize the provider and the files land in your folder.

What if a copy fails?

It is retried and stays visible as failed until the provider confirms it.

Does the mirror include rejected media?

No. Only approved originals are queued.

What happens if I close the event?

Copies already confirmed in your cloud are unaffected.

Can I use more than one provider?

Yes, providers are connected independently.
