Do my guests need an app or an account?
No. They point a phone camera at the QR code and upload from Safari, Chrome or any mobile browser. No app, no login, no account.
How does the Google Drive or Dropbox sync work?
Connect your own Google Drive or Dropbox and Galeira copies every approved original into a folder you own. Stop using Galeira and those files stay put — they are in your account, not ours.
Are photos compressed like on WhatsApp or Instagram?
No. What a guest uploads is what is stored and copied to your cloud. Galeira makes smaller versions for the gallery view, but the original file is never replaced.
Can I approve photos before they reach the venue screen?
Yes. Turn on host approval and only the photos you approve appear in the live slideshow.
Can I try it before my event?
Yes. Make the QR first, then connect backup and change the look whenever you like.
What if a backup needs attention?
Your dashboard shows which files are queued, mirrored or failed, with a one-tap retry and reconnect.
