Do my guests need an app or an account?
Guests open the QR or link in their browser, without installing the Galeira app. They follow the access steps you choose for your event.
How does the Google Drive or Dropbox sync work?
Connect a supported cloud account and review backup progress in your dashboard. Copies already saved there remain subject to that provider's storage, permissions and account rules. A connection alone does not confirm that every file has copied.
Are photos compressed like on WhatsApp or Instagram?
No. What a guest uploads is what is stored and copied to your cloud. Galeira makes smaller versions for the gallery view, but the original file is never replaced.
Can I approve photos before they reach the venue screen?
Review your event's curation and slideshow settings before displaying guest uploads. Where available, selected or featured views let you choose a curated set. Automated screening is not the same as your personal approval.
Can I try it before my event?
You can start setting up your event before the day. Review your plan's upload window and hosting dates before sharing or testing uploads.
What if a backup needs attention?
Check backup status in your dashboard to see what needs attention. Review the available retry or connection options for the affected destination.
