For families, and those helping them

A place to gather what's left of a life lived.

Memorials are not events. They are weight, and breath, and the long, slow act of remembering. Galeira does what it can — quietly. One QR code. Every photo your guests carry. All of it kept, in a place that is yours.

i

Nothing scrolls. Nothing flashes.

The memorial page is still — no live counters, no reaction badges, no notifications. Photos appear gently, in their own time, in a layout that has room to breathe.

ii

The album lives in your family's cloud.

Photos mirror to your family's own cloud — Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, S3, or WebDAV. Years from now, the folder is still where you left it. No login is needed to remember.

iii

Voices, not only images.

Guests can record a short audio message from their phone — a story, a shared joke, something they wish they had said. It is kept alongside the photos, in the same archive.

How a memorial is different

The defaults change for a memorial.

Tone

A quieter voice.

The wording stays plain and gentle. No urgency, no countdowns, nothing that asks for your attention. A memorial gallery should never feel like it is celebrating anything.

Privacy

Closed from the first moment.

Set the gallery to link-only and password-protected. There is no public listing and no shareable preview — only the people you send the link to can ever see it.

Time

It is kept without an end date.

A memorial is best kept on the plan that does not expire, so the gallery stays online and the mirror to your family's cloud keeps running — with a cloud destination connected — for as long as your family wants it.

To whoever is reading this:

We know why you are on this page. We are sorry.

Galeira was built for weddings and birthdays — the kind of nights where guests end up with too many photos and nowhere to put them. Over time, families began using it for funerals and memorials, and they wrote to ask whether we could make it gentler. We tried. This page, and the way a memorial gallery is set up, is the result.

There is no upsell here. No countdown, no urgency, no live preview asking for your attention. Only an ordinary, quiet way to collect what your guests carry on their phones, and to put it somewhere that will still exist long after the service — and long after us.

If we can help with anything — setting it up, moving photos from another app, wording that needs softening — write to hello@galeira.com. A person reads every message.

For funeral directors and celebrants

You can set it up for a family.

If you arrange services, you can create a memorial gallery on a family's behalf in a few minutes. There is nothing to install and nothing to manage afterwards — you set it up once, hand the family their link and password, and step back. The photos go to the family's own cloud, not yours and not ours.

If that is something you would want to offer the families you work with, write to us at hello@galeira.com. We are glad to help you get started.

When the service is over, the album does not have to end with it.

A memorial gallery takes a few minutes to set up. There is nothing for your guests to install.
