For hosts
How do I create my first event?
Sign in → Dashboard → Create event. Pick a date, an event type (wedding / funeral / corporate / other), and a plan tier. You'll get a QR code and a short link you can put on tables, invitations, or send by message.
How do I invite guests?
From your event dashboard, go to Guests → Add. Paste a list of emails or import a CSV. Guests get an email with a personal QR + RSVP link. They never need to create an account.
How does the cloud mirror work?
Settings → Cloud mirror → connect Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, S3 / R2 / B2, or WebDAV. Every approved upload gets copied to your own cloud, typically within minutes. Mirror status page shows progress, failures, and retries.
What happens to photos after the event?
They stay in your Galeira gallery for your plan's archive period (Free 30 days, Wedding 24 months, Forever 5 years). Files already mirrored to your connected cloud remain in that cloud account whether or not Galeira is available. External cloud-provider outages and account deletions are outside Galeira's control.
For guests
How do I upload a photo?
Scan the host's QR code. Tap the upload button. Pick photos from your camera roll or take new ones. No app to install, no account to create.
Can I delete a photo I uploaded?
Yes. On the gallery page, find your upload (it shows your guest name) and tap the menu → Delete. If you've left the page, you can ask the host to remove it.
Will the host know who uploaded what?
Only the name you typed when uploading. If you skipped that, the upload shows as 'Guest'. We don't capture phone numbers, emails, or location data from your upload.
Billing & plans
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
Dashboard → Account → Billing → Change plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 14 days, we evaluate case-by-case. Email billing@galeira.com.
Troubleshooting
My guests are saying the QR doesn't work
Phone cameras need to focus on the QR for a couple of seconds. If your QR is on a printed sheet, make sure it's at least 5cm x 5cm and not laminated with a glossy finish (which causes glare). If problems persist, ask guests to type the short link in their browser instead.
Uploads are stuck in 'pending moderation'
If you have Auto-moderation enabled (default), uploads pass through Amazon Rekognition for content review. This usually takes <30 seconds. If stuck longer than 5 minutes, check Settings → Moderation → toggle off-and-on.
I'm getting signed out unexpectedly
Clear your browser cookies for galeira.com and sign in again. If it keeps happening, contact support@galeira.com with your account email and rough time of day.
