This addendum supplements our baseline Privacy Policy for Connecticut residents under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. § 42-515 et seq.
Your CTDPA rights
- Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
- Correct inaccuracies.
- Delete personal data we hold about you.
- Obtain a portable copy.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and certain profiling.
Universal opt-out signal
We recognise the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of targeted advertising and sale of personal data — though Galeira engages in neither.
Sensitive data
Processing sensitive data (CTDPA § 42-515(38): racial / ethnic origin, religious belief, mental / physical health condition, sex life, sexual orientation, citizenship, biometric data processed for identification, precise geolocation, data of a known child) requires consent meeting GDPR-comparable standards (freely-given, specific, informed, unambiguous).
Children & teens
For consumers Connecticut knows to be 13–17, we do not process for targeted advertising or sale, and do not profile in furtherance of significant effects, without consent. We do not engage in any of these regardless of age.
How to exercise & appeal
Email [email protected]; we respond within 45 days and offer an appeal route within 60 days of any refusal. Unresolved complaints may be filed with the Connecticut Attorney General at portal.ct.gov/ag.
