Frequently asked questions
What size should I print my QR?
A safe rule: print at least 2 cm (¾ inch) wide for every 1 metre (3 feet) the reader stands away. For a table tent: 3–4 cm is plenty. For a poster across the room: 15–20 cm.
Will the QR work if I change colours?
Yes, as long as there's strong contrast between foreground and background. Black on white is most reliable; light-on-dark works if both colours are distinct enough.
Is there a scan limit?
No. The QR encodes the URL directly — it doesn't route through our servers, so there's no scan limit or tracking on our side.
Should I use PNG or SVG?
PNG for emailing, embedding in a slide deck, or quick prints. SVG for any time you want crisp results at large print sizes — vector scales without pixelation.
