What's the file-size limit?
There's no hard limit on our side, but very large batches use a lot of memory. Most browsers handle 50–100 photos comfortably; tens of thousands may slow your computer.
Will it preserve the original quality?
Yes. The JPG is encoded at full quality (1.0) so detail loss is minimal. The file size is usually larger than the HEIC because JPG isn't as efficient — that's the trade-off for compatibility.
Does it work on iPhone Safari?
Yes. iPhone Safari can both read HEIC and download the converted JPG — no app install needed.
What's the difference between HEIC and HEIF?
HEIC is Apple's name for the HEIF (High Efficiency Image Format) container with HEVC-encoded images. The two are usually interchangeable; this tool handles both.
