Frequently asked questions
When should I use WebP vs JPG?
WebP is 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality, and all modern browsers support it. Pick WebP for any web context. Pick JPG when you need to share a file with someone who'll open it in Outlook, Photoshop, or print software.
When should I use AVIF?
AVIF is the smallest of the four formats — about half the size of JPG at similar quality. Browser support is now solid (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Pick AVIF when you control the audience and want smallest payload.
Is my photo uploaded?

Will PNG-to-JPG lose quality?
JPG uses lossy compression, so yes — but at the default quality the loss is invisible to the eye. The benefit is much smaller file size.
